Privacy Policy
The Con Docket scheduler (the "App") is the publishing tool operated by The Con Docket ("we", "us"). It schedules and publishes The Con Docket's own videos to the channel's own accounts on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. This policy explains what information the App accesses on each platform, how it is used, stored and shared, and how to have it deleted.
1. Who the App is for
The App is used only by the owner of The Con Docket. Registration is closed, and only the channel's own accounts are connected. The App is not directed at children and does not collect information from anyone under 13.
2. Information the App accesses
Each platform provides the App only the information the account owner approves on that platform's consent screen.
Google / YouTube (YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API)
When the owner connects The Con Docket's YouTube channel with Google sign-in, the App receives:
- Google account basics (
openid,userinfo.profile,userinfo.email): the account's name, profile picture and email address, used to identify which account is connected. - YouTube channel access (
youtube,youtube.force-ssl,youtube.readonly,youtube.upload,youtubepartner): used to read the channel's name and picture, upload the channel's own videos, set their title, description, tags, thumbnail and "made for kids" status, and confirm they were published. - YouTube Analytics (
yt-analytics.readonly): read-only statistics of the channel's own videos, such as views, shown to the owner inside the App. - OAuth tokens that let the App perform those actions until access is revoked.
Instagram (Instagram API with Instagram Login)
- The account's ID, username, name and profile picture, to show which account is connected.
- Permission to publish content (
instagram_business_content_publish), used to post the channel's own Reels and captions at the scheduled time, and OAuth tokens to do so.
TikTok (Login Kit, Content Posting API, Display API)
- Basic profile information (
user.info.basic,user.info.profile): open ID, display name, username, avatar and profile link. - Account statistics (
user.info.stats): follower, following, like and video counts of the connected account, shown to the owner. - The account's own video list (
video.list), to confirm that scheduled posts went live. - Posting permissions (
video.upload,video.publish), used only to upload and publish the channel's own videos with the settings the owner chooses. - OAuth tokens to perform those actions.
On every platform the App does not read messages, contacts, followers' identities, other users' content, or location, and it never accesses accounts other than The Con Docket's.
3. How the information is used
- To show the owner which accounts are connected.
- To upload, schedule and publish The Con Docket's own videos with their text and settings.
- To confirm whether each post was published and show basic statistics of the channel's own accounts.
- To keep the connections working (refreshing tokens).
The information is not used for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models, and it is never sold or rented.
4. Google API Services: Limited Use
The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the publishing features described above, is not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide them or to comply with law, and is not read by humans except with the owner's consent, for security, or to comply with law.
The App uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube account you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Sharing
We do not share platform data with third parties. Information only goes to the platform it belongs to, when the
App publishes on it. Videos waiting to be published are served over HTTPS from postiz.autoscala.org so
Instagram and TikTok can retrieve them; that traffic passes through Cloudflare's network.
6. Storage and security
Tokens, account details and scheduled videos are stored in the App's database on a computer The Con Docket controls. The App is reachable only over HTTPS, sign-ups are disabled, and its credentials are kept out of any public code and readable only by the operator.
7. Retention and deletion
- Tokens and account details are kept while an account is connected and deleted when it is disconnected.
- Uploaded videos and post records are kept as a record of what was published and can be deleted at any time.
- Access can be revoked at any time: Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions; Instagram in Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites; TikTok in Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services.
- To request deletion of any data the App holds, email thecondocket@gmail.com; we complete requests within 30 days.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
